A room reserved for our battle-tested, highest-achieving, highest-impact members. For three days, a small group of women leading companies, funds, and institutions come together in a setting built for candor — where confidential challenges can be said out loud, and where the friendships and partnerships formed often outlast the retreat itself.
Changemakers is also JWE's largest fundraising effort of the year.
No philanthropic funding subsidizes this program. Instead, your contribution helps determine our future.
In 2026, proceeds will support two initiatives designed to open doors for the next generation of Jewish women in business.
An executive education program with Yale University, built specifically for JWE members — particularly the strong operators among us who didn't come up through a traditional educational path.
A digital platform offering on-demand video classes in business, finance, and marketing — designed to open access to practical business education for the next generation.
JWE is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your participation is a tax-deductible contribution, and we'll provide a receipt for your records.
What makes this group unique isn't just individual achievement — it's cohesion.
Every woman in the room is navigating a similar professional season: sitting at the top of her organization, having the hard conversations, buying or selling companies, managing large teams — all while working to hold onto her personal values along the way.
That shared vantage point is what makes the trust in this room possible.
A space for top women leaders to safely and honestly engage each other on their toughest personal and professional challenges.
An integrated educational curriculum geared toward more mature professionals and the decisions they are navigating now.
The retreat drives JWE's largest fundraising initiative — supporting JWE Academy and our bespoke Yale × JWE programming for leading women.
Changemakers is both an investment in your own leadership and a commitment to creating opportunities for other women through JWE.
Your $6,750 commitment may be fulfilled through a personal gift, funds raised from your network, or a combination of both.
As part of the Changemakers Retreat, each participant makes a minimum charitable contribution of $1,800 to help expand access to JWE's programs for women who are launching businesses, navigating career transitions, or working toward greater financial independence.
This includes subsidized coaching and mentorship, educational programming, scholarships, and community initiatives designed to ensure that every woman has the support she needs to grow.
By participating in the retreat, you're investing not only in your own growth, but in creating opportunities for the next generation of Jewish women entrepreneurs and leaders.
